According to the amendment to the Trade Act (ZT-1B) adopt in 2020, shops should be clos on Sundays and holidays, which are public holidays. But currently the Order for the possibility of opening shops dat 5 August 2023, issu by the Commander of the Civil Defense of the Republic of Slovenia, is in force. This allows stores that sell food, technical goods and children’s equipment to be open regardless of the Trade Act. So which shops will be open on Assumption Day 2023 on 15/08/2023 .
Stores open Assumption 2023 on 15/08/2023
The order and exceptions of the Trade Act enable shops to be open also on Tuesday on Assumption Day 2023. The Trade Act itself, independently of the Order, allows shops to be open on Tuesday, 15 August 2023:
- stores with a sales area of up to 200 m2 at petrol stations, border crossings, ports, airports, railway and bus stations and in hospitals .
- small shops with an area of up to 200 m2 in which, on Sundays and holidays, the work is carri out by trade operators or 2024 fresh whatsapp number list legal representatives or procurators of a legal entity engag in commercial activity. Pupils, students and pensioners can also work in these shops.
These exceptions are already known and have been known since the last amendment to the Trade Act. The order, however, has now allow stores to remain open regardless of these exemptions. Of course, it is up to the merchant to decide whether to open stores or not.
Mercator, Spar, Hofer, Lidl stores open on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, on Assumption Day
On Solidarity Day and the Sunday before, many large retailers took advantage of the opportunity provid by the Order ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਕੀਵਰਡਸ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰੋ and open their stores. Mercator, Spar, Hofer, Lidl and Tuš decid to remain clos for Mary’s Ascension Day (15 August 2023). The exception is the two franchise stores Spar Partner Komenda and Spar Partner Muta, which will be open on beb directory Assumption Day 2023.
Although the shopping centers beb directory will be clos, their restaurants are often open. Thus, Aleja SKY will be open on Assumption Day. Cafes will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and restaurants from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
